What do people say about the Cage of Death?

People say the Cage of Death is safe, well run and close — reviewers describe the croc swimming within inches of the cage and staff who explain everything in the briefing. The one repeated wish is clearer information on the photo package price. Read more reviews.

Is the Cage of Death scary?

It's meant to feel thrilling, and many reviewers say the briefing calmed them down. You're inside a closed acrylic cage the whole time, and you can pull a safety brake. If you're unsure, watch someone else's dive from the poolside first. See the safety record.

Is the photo package worth it?

Reviewers who bought the photo package recommend it, and the only complaint in reviews is that the price should be clearer up front. It's sold separately, and the price isn't published online, so ask at check-in. See what the price includes.

Which croc will I see?

You'll share the water with one of the park's big saltwater crocodiles — currently Wendell, Baru, Leo, William or Kate. The park decides which one joins your session. Book your session.

Is it better to go solo or with a partner?

Going with a partner is about a quarter cheaper per person ($208.06 for the cage, about $104 each) and lets you share the moment; going solo gives you the croc and the view to yourself for $137.09. 15–17-year-olds must dive with an adult. Choose solo or two.
